Ingredients
For one serving, you will need

2 ounces of gin (we used Hendrick’s)

¾ ounce simple syrup

1 ounce lemon juice

Basil leaves (and extra to garnish)
We recommend having all of your ingredients on hand so your gin basil cocktail will come together quickly. You will also need something to muddle the ingredients in. We used a shaker tin, but a wooden spoon and cup will also work in a pinch.
Step One
Start by muddling the basil leaves. This will ensure that your basil flavor is bold and well blended.
Step Two
Add the remaining ingredients and ice into your shaker, then shake until chilled.
Step 3
Strain your cocktail into desired glass, and garnish with basil leaves.
