How to Throw an Industrial Glam Party

There are so many party themes a host can choose from and be creative with. Not to mention all the little nuances and personality! We’re loving this industrial glam party thrown by none other than one of the wedding industry’s top brands, The Knot.

Planned and executed by Simply Elegant Occasions, this Portland Mixer provided local industry professionals a fun evening of networking and was a gorgeous example of how to throw a beautiful party down to the details. The industrial vibes started with the venue itself, Coopers Hall, and was reflected in the decorations, tablescape, lounge area and more.

Passed appetizers were served on natural wood platters for an added earthy tone that perfectly complemented the greenery-filled, but otherwise stripped down, winery and tap room. Personalized cocktail napkins graced the bar and tables, their 18 Kt. Gold Foil just the right amount of glam to accent the industrial setting.

A little entertainment was found in the way of a photobooth that invited all the laughs. The wood slated chevron backdrop, wooden tripod and Edison-esque light bulb added the perfect industrial touch.
