We love when a bride gets creative with the events leading up to her wedding, and this Preppy Pink and Green Bridesmaids Brunch that incorporated making floral arrangements for the upcoming engagement party is no exception. A gorgeous tablescape, delectable food, a creative bridesmaid “proposal” and a designated time to create gorgeous floral arrangements? Alllll the yesses.
First, let’s talk about the bridesmaid proposal! It was a true “pop the question” with each having to pop a balloon to find a personal note from the bride, asking for them to be her bridesmaid. How cute is that?!
Next up, that tablescape. From the lemony striped tablecloth, to the custom straw tags and balloons, the layers of color and style were perfectly appointed. The fresh flowers pulled it all together, and gave the table a fresh and festive look.
The brunch menu was a variety of mini appetizers, aka an adorable feast by Modern Art Catering, with mini Ceaser salads in parmesan cups, citrus and fennel avocado toast and lemon wedge ahi tacos. The bride and her bridesmaids sat poolside at their seats designated by personalized place cards. Talk about idyllic!
With some smart scheduling, this bridesmaid brunch was the day before the engagement party, making it a perfect time for the bridesmaids to arrange the floral centerpieces for the next day’s event. After enjoying their meal, and accepting their bridesmaid proposals, everyone gathered around the floral design table to create their own gorgeous arrangements for the engagement party.
With gorgeous décor and delicious food and drinks, this task was anything but a burden! What a smart way to pamper your bridesmaids, even while their giving you a hand with party prep. Seriously genius! Let this fabulous event designed by Be Inspired PR and photographed by Christine Doneé be MAJOR inspiration for your upcoming bridesmaids brunch or bridal shower planning!
