It’s that time of year, again. (already!!) Thanksgiving is here, of course, and I have the bonus of my birthday falling during this season, too! Double the reasons to be thankful!
The hustle and bustle of the holidays are upon us, but Thanksgiving is a day to pause in gratitude in the midst of the busy-ness, the holiday shopping lists and the planning. To be grateful for this moment, the people we’re surrounded by and the life that we’ve been granted for another year: is there anything better?
This year, I am thankful for my family and loved ones, my beloved pup, George, my fabulous employees and co-workers at For Your Party and for enjoyable and beautiful work. How about you?
This season often prompts thoughts of generations, both the ones who came before us and the ones to come. This week we sit in gratitude for the world we’ve been given, and at the same time, we look to practical ways we can ensure and improve the world for the generations to come! Our choices today can have a long-lasting impact!
As we embrace another beautiful holiday season here at For Your Party, we’re compelled to continue to find ways to give back, too. One simple and effective way that we do this is through our ongoing partnership with One Tree Planted. Together, we offset For Your Party’s carbon footprint and are committed to planting at least 250 trees each month! Not only does this aim to replace the ecological impact of using paper products, but it invests in the future that our grandchildren and their grandchildren will live in, too. It’s a way we can tangibly leave this world better than we found it.
