Not sure about you, but we’re always down for a margarita. Bring on the chips and salsa! Here’s the thing though, if you rely on a margarita mix, you’re simply missing out. There’s nothing quite like a margarita made from scratch with freshly squeezed lime juice. On the rocks, of course. Whether you’re looking to make it by the glass or mix up a pitcher to enjoy with a group of friends, we’ve got you covered! Add a cute personalized napkin or stir stick to make your freshly prepared glass of delicious even more special. How perfect is our new Sea Glass Watercolor Cocktail Napkin next to the green of the margarita!?

Ingredients for a Single Glass
2 oz of Silver (or Blanco) 100% Agave Tequila
1 oz Cointreau
1.5 oz freshly squeezed lime juice (about 1 lime)
Simple syrup (see below) or agave to taste
1-2 fresh lime wedges for garnish
Coarse salt for rimming the glass
Ice

Directions
First, salt the rim of your glass. Moisten the rim with a lime wedge, and then dip it into a small plate of coarse salt.

Pour the tequila, Cointreau and lime juice into the glass. Add your simple syrup according to sweetness preference. Don’t forget your ice will also dilute the drink a bit. Give your mixture a quick stir, and then fill the glass with ice. Squeeze a wedge or two of fresh lime over the top, and add the wedges to the drink for garnish. Enjoy!

Ingredients for a Pitcher for Twelve
3 cups (Silver or Blanco) 100% Agave Tequila
1 1/2 cup Cointreau
1 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lime juice (about 12 limes)
Simple syrup (see below) or agave to taste
12-24 fresh lime wedges for garnish
Coarse salt for rimming the glass
Ice

Directions
First, salt the rims of your glasses. Moisten the rims with a lime wedge, and then dip each into a small plate of coarse salt.

Mix the tequila, Cointreau and lime juice into a pitcher. Stir well. Pour a 1/2 cup into each glass. Add simple syrup to individual taste. (You could also add the simple syrup to your pitcher before pouring into each glass. The individual method allows everyone to choose their own level of sweet!) Fill each glass with ice. Add a squeeze of lime, and then add the wedge for garnish. Cheers!

Simple Syrup Directions
Combine 1 cup of water and 1 cup of sugar in a small saucepan and heat on the stove top. Stir occasionally until the sugar is dissolved. Store the syrup in a jar and refrigerate until you are ready to use. You can keep your syrup in the fridge for 3–4 weeks to sweeten any of your mixed drinks!
