There are gender reveal parties, and then there are love drenched, epic gender reveal extravaganzas. Dominique Sensabaugh’s recent gender reveal was absolutely among the grandest celebrations we’ve seen! Recounting the day, Dominique said, “Coty and I couldn’t just host a standard reveal where we cut the cake to announce our new addition and bid our farewells. We had to incorporate an epic element of surprise to keep our guest on their toes. It’s only right.” Mission accomplished, Dom. Mission accomplished.
As Dominique and her husband, Coty, prepared for their 2nd born to join their family, they reflected on their love of parenting life in an upbeat and refreshing way: “Coty and I may sleep way less because we will soon have two babies, under two, in diapers but our hearts will continue to overflow with love and gratitude for these amazing blessings!”
The food at their fabulous celebration was elegant, delicious, and plentiful—in keeping with Dominique’s southern, or as she says “country,” heritage. The brunch dishes served ranged from jerk salmon tacos to waffles to shrimp & grits.
For sweet treats, not only did the party feature 2 cakes, but also custom designed cookies, and other gorgeous sweets! For drinks, custom signature cocktails named for each of their immediate family members quenched guests’ thirst in a sweet and meaningful way. Drinks were passed with personalized full color cocktail napkins complete with an illustrated family portrait. #cocktailnapkingoals
The party’s atmosphere and décor were elegant and comfortable. With personalized party accessories from custom stir sticks to the adorable custom cocktail napkins, the details were all perfect. Dominique describes the fabulous styling saying, “Tiffany Cook Events curated a beautiful backdrop consisting of a cascading ombre collection of metallic, blue and pink balloons that was used as the focal point of the reveal. She also created a relaxed vibe using luxe white lounge accompanied by sparkly sequins pillows and beautiful pink and blue sequins table cloths to add to the theme of the brunch.”
Dominique and Coty anticipated the arrival of Journei so eagerly and their celebration was an exquisite reflection of their love for their baby girl, even before her anticipated arrival. As Dominique said it best on her blog, “It was a heartfelt celebration exploding with camaraderie and love.” You can read more about the gender reveal on Dominique’s blog.
