This week, we thought we'd try something a little bit more on the savory side. Martini anyone? There’s something about a martini that makes us want to put on silk elbow gloves, red lipstick and pearls. You’ll find us lounging with a martini in one hand and a long cigarette holder in the other. Ahhhh, vintage class—pre modern fashion and Surgeon General health discoveries.
But still, a martini is always a class act order. Did you know there are many, many different ways to make and order a martini? Find below, steps to make a dirty (olive juice) gin martini that’s a little on the dry (less dry vermouth) side.
Ingredients
Gin (Try Seagram’s Distiller’s Reserve)
Dry Vermouth
Olive Juice
Olives
Directions
In a shaker, pour your gin and vermouth at a 3:1 ratio over ice. The more dry you’d like, the less vermouth! Add a splash of olive juice—or more for a dirtier drink. Stir well for 30 seconds to a minute. Strain into a martini glass and garnish with olives speared with a custom Stir Stick of your design. Sip and socialize!
