It’s safe to say that as most couples dream about their perfect wedding day, they hope for the most magical day ever. Well, Sam and Ash from California definitely achieved this. When reflecting on their wedding day, the brides say, “It was an absolute dream! The most magical day ever! It's truly an incredible feeling to celebrate and share your love with all of your closest friends and family surrounding you. We poured our whole hearts into making this day happen and everything turned out better than we could have ever imagined!"

When they started planning their west coast outdoor wedding, Sam and Ash knew the one element that just had to be included was the beach. They wanted an outdoor location with an atmosphere that was “wild and free,” and at the Malibu West Beach Club, they definitely got that! With a perfect view of the ocean, and both an indoor and outdoor space to use, it fit what they were looking for perfectly. Both brides grew up in LA with the beach as part of their lives’ landscapes. When they were planning their dreamy wedding day, they knew that the beach had to be their backdrop.
The whole day was perfectly punctuated with meaning, from special gifts exchanged with those dearest to them, to a precious “first look,” to many traditions and personal touches—it truly was an event that celebrated the brides in the truest of ways. A true surrounding of love, in a setting that means so much to Sam and Ash, with the blessing of a gorgeous sunset on their wedding day: “The most magical day.”
One of Sam’s absolute favorite things in life is sunsets at the beach, which became an inspiration for the couple’s color palette for their wedding day. They called their color choices “beachy chic,” with muted, warm sunset hues and tones, and used those colors in all of their decor, florals, rentals and even their desserts! Even their custom designed matchboxes and cocktail napkins, both in watercolor patterns, reflected a sunset sky and the watery ocean. The Malibu sunset wasn’t just the color inspiration! The timing of the wedding was designed to feature the sunset, too! Surrounded by their closest friends and family, in a space that had a perfect beach view, at sunset—no wonder they remember it as the most magical day!
"We’ve been together for about five and a half years! We met due to a GLITCH! The best glitch ever! Ashley was on the app tinder to make new friends in the area…meanwhile, Sam was on tinder to look for a new guy to date! Yes—a guy. Sam had never dated a woman before! After being on the app for a little while, her app starting glitching and women started popping up! So Sam, being the open & loving person she is, said “screw it…why should I hold myself back?” And here we are!!"
