Amanda's 40th Beach Birthday Party
September 18, 2020
FYP Products: Patterned Cocktail Napkin, Stir Sticks
I wanted to gather a bunch of my friends together down in the sand for a relaxed end-of-summer soiree.. tacos, paletas, and people lounging around and laughing. Robin from Ro&Co Events created the most perfect party for this birthday girl (and mama-to-be!), complete with a flowy canopy and plenty of color. And Birds of a Feather captured the day in their beautiful California style.I designed a few fun accents for the event including an invite, and some custom cocktail napkins and drink stirrers printed by For Your Party. Don’t you love that pink and orange tie-dyed cocktail napkin? For more from this glam birthday!
Multi Cultural Winter Wedding for Mollika & Philip
October 11, 2016
FYP Products: Cocktail Napkins
Cakies, if you know any couples marrying two cultures along with I Do, you MUST send M + P’s day their way. They pulled off an Indian ceremony, Christian ceremony, and combined reception for 200+ guests without sacrificing a single tradition that was important to them + their fams. So yeah, pretty impressive! Mollika says, "As much as this “your” day, it is also a day for your parents and all of your loved ones to share in your joy and happiness. In the Indian culture, a wedding is not just about the bride + groom but about the marriage of two families. While it is going to be difficult to let go of what you truly want, it’s important to consider the needs of your loved ones." For more from this real wedding!
Mod Downtown Atlanta Wedding for Yvonne + Clifton
February 8, 2018
FYP Product: Cocktail Napkins
Yvonne + Cliff’s methods for sticking to their 15k budget: 1) Restricting the guest list to family and close friends, 2) Lots of candles instead of florals, with greenery as accents, 2) Using Etsy + local vendors for great pieces without the brand name price, 3) Candleholders and geometric accents they could reuse in their home.
Y says, "The most memorable to me was seeing how everyone chose to fit in our dress code of cocktail attire in our wedding colors (black, white, & metallics). I loved all the sequins and shine! Since we didn’t have a wedding party, the dress code made it feel like everyone was a part of it. We also had all of our married guests bring wedding photos to display so we could be reminded of the great examples surrounding us."
